Trude­sign: Ok Who are you?

Jared Thomp­son: Im jared thomp­son, im a grad­u­ate prod­uct designer from Bolton, Eng­land. I also under­take a lot of time online writ­ing for var­i­ous design sites, as well as own­ing my own per­sonal site Design Juices.

Tru: In a nut­shell what makes you get up in the morn­ing and do what you do every­day (writ­ing mostly these days right?) (2 min­utes down)

JT: Design is a pas­sion that has dri­ven me for the past four years and i love to get up and explore new ways in which our daily lives can be improved. In recent weeks writ­ing and social media and net­work­ing takes up my time.

Tru: Who is your favorite designer/artist? (his­tor­i­cal or modern)

JT: Dieter rams and jonathan Ive always tie it for me

Tru: Do you draw your inspi­ra­tion more from man made things or from nature?

JT: i would say im more of an indus­trial designer draw­ing from the mate­ri­als and processes man has made into a product

Tru: When you were a kid, what did you want to be

JT: i was always chas­ing a dream of being a rugby star.

Tru: Favorite color

JT: blue

Tru: Fav footie team

JT: leeds united. (or detroit lions ?)
