Who am I?

I’m a 26 year old graphic and interface designer, user experience creator, burgeoning web developer, photographer and data visualizationalist, based in Northern Virginia. By day I’m a corporate designer, working for the man, trying to make their humongous amounts of data look pretty. At night I go by Trudesign, a writer, twitter addict, researcher, and freelance designer/proprietor of Trudesign Studios. I’ve also been called a sci-fi geek, video game jockey, Applewhore, Jeeper, outdoorsman, happy hour participant, and an all around lover of life. I like to write about design and everyday life since I moved from New York and attempt to cultivate myself and my brand for the future.

What can I do for you?

Currently, I’m willing to take on small projects in web design, UX Consulting logo design, icon design, business branding and identity design, print design(brochures, business cards, letterheads, posters, etc), as well photography and photo manipulation/retouching services. I am well versed in all Adobe programs and some coding languages; XHTML and CSS, I dabble in PHP and Javascript, and I can work with WordPress, CMS’s, TypeKit, and I love grid based design. I’m also a self-declared social media guru. I know and love Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Linkedin, Digg, and Flickr, and can help you utilize these tools to push your brand to the next level. My average rate is around $50 per hour but always depends on the job and it’s circumstances.
